Prep Welcomes Archbishop Hebda for Advent Mass

Before parting ways for the Christmas holiday, the Prep community gathered to celebrate an Advent Mass in the Memorial Gymnasium. Presiding at Mass was a very special guest: Archbishop Bernard Hebda.

Save the Date: Florida Receptions Set for February

Alumni and parents who will be in the Sunshine State in February are welcome to join Prep president Ken Boller, S.J., and vice president Jim Horan, '70 at this year's receptions in Palm Beach, Miami, and Bonita Springs.

Prep Heads to San Francisco and Phoenix in January!

The expression, "Go west, young man!" is attributed to the newspaper magnate Horace Greeley, who also ran for president in 1872, the very same year that Saint Peter's Prep was founded. Coincidence? Most definitely. Nonetheless, in January, we are indeed headed west to host two alumni happy hours, in Phoenix (1/20) and San Francisco (1/21).

Office Hours During Christmas Break

Prep's students and teachers will be on Christmas break until classes resume January 5. However, most Prep offices will remain open, with the exception of Christmas Eve (Wednesday 12/24), Christmas Day (Thursday, 12/25) and New Year's Day (Thursday, 1/1). If you require any assistance during the break, please call 201-547-6400 to confirm that the appropriate office is indeed open.

Prep Adopts Ten Families for Christmas

Prep's annual Adopt-a-Family drive is now complete, having collected 379 gifts (plus $1,200 in grocery gift cards) to make Christmas just a bit brighter for 10 families in need – a total of 46 individuals. Students, teachers and administrators contributed over the past several weeks, and an army of volunteers wrapped the gifts on Wednesday evening in O'Keefe Commons.

Saint Peter's Prep is a Catholic, Jesuit college preparatory school which seeks to form young men of competence, conscience and compassion. Both enriched and challenged by its diversity, Prep is a community of learners seeking to find God in all things. The academic, athletic, co-curricular, spiritual and service programs aim to foster in students an understanding of the world and the courage to advance the common good.
