Each year, Prep students have the opportunity to act as counselors for Camp Kismet, a summer camp for underprivileged children in the poorest areas of rural West Virginia. These week-long camps are often the only vacations these children have, and Prep students are there to enhance and support their experiences.

In addition to Camp Kismet, Prep students may serve and retreat at Bethlehem Farms or Nazareth Farm, two programs run in rural West Virginia. Students learn there about the dignity of hard work as they work alongside the community members to improve housing, farm, and serve in these impoverished and often forgotten areas.
