Saint Peter's Prep Baseball Skills Camp will be held on James F. Keenan, S.J., Field, located on Grand Street, between (Luis Munoz) Marin Blvd. and Van Vorst Street in downtown Jersey City. The camp will be held from July 15th-18th and staffed by St. Peter's Prep head varsity coach, Pat Laguerre and many other members of the Prep coaching staff. Any questions can be directed to the Athletic Director's office at 201-547-6450. The cost per athlete is $160.

All registrations in 2013 will be processed online. In order to register, please complete the Online Registration. In order to complete this form you must have javascript enabled in your browser. If you are unable to register in this way please contact the athletic offices.

Every camper must also have a Parental/Guardian Release Form on file at the school prior to participating in the camp.

Lastly, please add contact information and the camper's first and last name with any checks that you mail to the school for filing reasons.

Camp Schedule

Skills covered in stations for the 4 days:

• Infield Play (Footwork, Double Play Pivots, tags, Approach steps, wind work, sun work)
• Outfield Play (Drop Step, Crossover Step, Communication Drill, Ground Ball Work, Sun Work)
• Pitching (Grips, Arm Slot, Delivery, Balance, Pickoffs, PFP's)
• Catching (Receiving, Framing, Blocking, Tags, Giving Signs, Pop Time)
• Hitting (Bat Selection, Stance, Stride, Situational Hitting, Bunts, Tee Work)

Directions to the Field

Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 14C. About one-half mile after the toll booth, exit at "Jersey City/Columbus Drive." At the bottom of the ramp, go straight through the light and at the end of the next block, bear right onto Columbus Drive. Stay on Columbus Drive for approximately 7/10 of a mile to Marin Blvd. Turn right onto Marin Blvd. and follow this to Grand Street; turn left onto Grand Street. Go one block and turn right onto Van Vorst Street; entrance to the filed will be one block in, on the right.
