Saint Peter's has two Open Houses each year. At both, tours of our campus at Grand & Warren will be available, and members of our faculty and administration, along with current students, will be on hand to answer questions and distribute important information about the admissions process. Visiting a Prep Open House is a great way to get acquainted with our campus, downtown Jersey City, the admissions process, and most importantly, student life at Saint Peter's Prep. We hope you'll take the time to visit us during Open House, and see why young men from over 125 communities in New Jersey and New York have chosen to make Saint Peter's Prep their "second home."
Many families travel to Prep Open Houses on public transit so their sons may experience the normal commute, even as the weekend train and bus schedule is not as convenient as the Monday - Friday schedule. Parking in Paulus Hook can be a challenge. There are, however, several parking garages within a short distance of Prep. Here are a few examples:
- Edison Parkfast (valet only) Montgomery & Marin
- Little Man (park & lock) Montgomery between Marin and Warren (Gotham)
- Central Parking System (park & lock) Columbus between Greene and Washington (above HopsScotch/5 Guys)
- Central Parking System (park & lock) Morris between Greene and Hudson (Liberty Towers)
Two Open Houses typically take place each year, one in the fall and one in the spring. The Spring Open House is generally intended for 6th and 7th graders beginning their high school selection process. Our Spring Open House takes place on Sunday, April 17, 2016 from 1PM - 3PM. The Fall Open House will take place on Sunday, October 16, 2016.
Campus visits and the Freshman for a Day Program (both available by appointment) also provide prospective students and their families with a chance to get to know Prep better. Please visit the "Freshman For a Day" tab to schedule a vist for current 8th graders.
