Sophomore Conversations

The transition from sophomore to junior year involves a variety of changes in a young man’s life. He is growing in academic, psychological, social, and spiritual ways. The Sophomore Grad-at-Grad Conversations at Saint Peter’s Prep provides students with the opportunity to examine this growth with the help of their parents and a member of Prep’s staff.

Being a part of a Jesuit high school is coming to an understanding of what values and beliefs our students integrate into their personal lives. Saint Peter’s is committed to St. Ignatius’ belief of transforming the world for Christ as articulated in the “Profile of the Graduate of a Jesuit High School at Graduation.” The Grad-at-Grad, as it’s known, is produced by the Jesuit Secondary Education Association, and is divided into five sections: an Openness to Growth; Intellectual Competence; Religious; Loving, and Committed to Doing Justice. Those five areas are the core of our “Sophomore Conversation” program.
