From as far as Aberdeen, Sea Girt and Tinton Falls, 129 families representing 51 communities in 9 counties converged at Grand & Warren last Sunday for Prep's Spring Open House.
In addition to the recent National Spanish Exam accolades, this spring has brought forth a crop of honors and achievements for Prep's modern language students, including strong showings on the National Italian High School Contest Exam, an induction ceremony for the modern language honor societies and a third-place result in the Italian Language and Culture competition at Montclair State University.
For many, summer means kicking back and taking it easy. But for those looking to take the summer on rather than off, great news: Prep is once again offering a full range of summer programs, which will challenge students to hone their artistic abilities, expand their academic horizons and excel on the athletic field!
On Wednesday afternoon, the Class of 2015 revisited last fall's overnight IgNite retreat, which was their introduction to Ignatian spirituality and other aspects of the Prep tradition. The inaugural "ReIgnite" half-day retreat offered the freshmen a chance to reflect on their first year at Prep and to look ahead to their life as upperclassmen.
This Sunday, May 6, from 1 to 3 p.m., prospective Prep men and their families will have a chance to explore Prep's campus, discover downtown Jersey City, meet members of the Prep community and more. Prep's Spring Open House is the perfect time to find out why it's not simply Prep for four years...it's Prep for Life!
