As Prep's recovery continues, this week brought two new milestones. On Wednesday, the total gifts to the Superstorm Sandy Recovery Fund surpassed the $400,000 mark – 80% of the $500,000 goal. And on Thursday, the classrooms in the lower level of Hogan Hall reopened following six weeks of intensive repair work.

From Portland, Maine to Portland, Oregon, students at Prep's fellow Jesuit high schools throughout the United States have stood with their brothers at Grand & Warren – as well as across the river at Xavier – to support the recovery effort following Hurricane Sandy. On Tuesday, representatives from Georgetown Prep were on campus to learn more about the storm damage and recovery process, and to present a donation from the Maryland school's student body. Their contribution brought the total support from Jesuit high schools to more than $20,000.

Nominations are currently open for the Athletic Hall of Fame, and there's never been a better time to celebrate the past honorees, stretching back to the first Legends in 1993. For the first time, the event programs from all the ceremonies in all three categories over the past two decades are now available online for your reading pleasure!
