Gala Night is Prep's biggest, brightest night of the year, and thanks to everyone involved, this year was no exception! With more than 450 guests in attendance, and more than 150 auction lots up for bids, the 8th annual 144 Grand Gala, presented by Academy and BCB Community Bank, raised $382,000 for Prep's financial assistance program, including a record $167,000 in Fund a Scholar contributions!
Follow your heart to O'Keefe Commons this weekend, as Prep Dramatics presents two more shows of Urinetown: The Musical, with music by by Mark Hollmann, lyrics by Mark Hollmann and Greg Kotis, and book by Greg Kotis. It's a satrical comedy full of laughter, surprises, and gleeful smashing of the fourth wall, whose Broadway debut in 2002 took home three Tony awards. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for students, and all shows start at 8 p.m.
Prep's Model UN Team took home three individual awards following last weekend's conference at Seton Hall University. Congratulations to up-and-coming diplomats Manav Singh, '16, R.J. Vivenzio, '17, and Andrew Alfonso, '17!
A team of visitors from member schools of the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools spent part of the week at Prep, as part of Prep's accreditation process. They arrived at Prep on Sunday afternoon, and were on hand through Wednesday afternoon.
