The Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod wrapped up in Wales yesterday, and Prep Vox completed the first leg of their European tour with a second place finish in the Show Choir category and a third in the Open category to their credit. The Spring 2014 issue of Prep Magazine is now available for online viewing at spprep.org/PrepMag . Discover the diverse communities that send students to Prep each day, and celebrate 20 years of the McGovern Tournament. Please note that the inclusion of Angelo Scianni, '10 in the "Vita Mutatur Non Tollitur" listing is incorrect. The Angelo Scianni of Bayonne who passed away last fall is actually the grandfather of Angelo, '10 and Ralph, '13.
In your prayers, please remember the soul of Fr. Edward "Ned" Coughlin, S.J., who passed away recently at the age of 69 following a brief illness. Fr. Coughlin's nearly-52-year ministry as a Jesuit brought him to Grand & Warren three different times: 1969-71, 1975-81 and 1982-84. During that second stint, he left perhaps his greatest mark on Saint Peter's Prep as he developed the Emmaus retreat program, leading Emmaus I in the fall of 1977.
Golden sunshine and temperate breezes graced the greens of the Upper Montclair Country Club for the 2014 Saint Peter's Prep – Frenkel & Company Golf Tournament. More than 170 golfers enjoyed picture-postcard conditions as they tackled one of New Jersey's premier courses. Along with the tournament's sponsors, they helped raise $140,000 to support Prep's mission of Jesuit education!

Pulmano, '14, "...building upon the previous chapters of the metaphoric book that is our lives."
