Thanks to Mary Kinahan-Ockay and Dave Ockay, '70, P'05,'07, thePetrean Archive is one step closer to being complete. They've lent us a copy of the 1933 Petrean to scan and add to the online collection. The book belonged to Mary's dad, Francis X. Kinahan, '33, one of nine alumni in the Kinahan-Ockay family over the past 85 years (click through for the full list). We're still looking for the 1925 and 1926 yearbooks to complete our set, so let us know if you have any leads!

A team of six Prep Italian-language students took first place in Wednesday's Italian Language and Culture Day at Montclair State University, sponsored by the Italian Teachers' Association of New Jersey and the Coccia Institute. The theme for the day was "In Cerca di..." / "In Search of ..." and each school was asked to complete the title as they created and performed their own skit (in Italian, of course!)

The 2013-14 school year will see the debut of an Alumni Service Corps at Saint Peter's Prep, and we're looking for recent college graduates who are ready to serve the educational and formational needs of today's Prep students while also developing their own personal and professional goals.

April 20 will be a big, bright Saturday night for Prep, and we'll be at the Westin Jersey City Newport, celebrating the sixth annual 144 Grand Gala! We hope you'll be there too – online registration is now open at spprep.org/gala, and while you're there you'll find everything you need to donate an auction item, volunteer to lend a hand or become a Gala sponsor!

The Prep Alumni Association has announced the Class of 2013 for the Prep Athletic Hall of Fame! The nine inductees (seven living, two posthumous) span 60 years and five different sports. They will be inducted in a ceremony this fall – more details will be announced in the coming weeks – but for now, please join us in congratulating them!
