Hundreds of individual experiences make up the Prep experience. Each spring, those classes and club meetings, performances and practices lead a class of young men to the stage at graduation, ready to begin their new journey as Prep alumni. It happened again earlier this month at Prep's 138th Commencement...and it was possible thanks to you! A gift to the Annual Fund helps to keep a Saint Peter’s Prep education within reach for our students and their families.
Graduation is just two weeks away, and the Class of 2016 lawn signs have arrived, just in time to celebrate! Signs can be picked up during Friday's Parents on the Plaza gathering, or from Ms. Trish Fitzpatrick, P'07,'16 in the admissions office.
Three Prep students placed in their respective categories during the 33rd Orlando Saa Foreign Language Poetry Recitation Contest on Thursday at William Paterson University.
At the conclusion of the school year, Mr. Tom Powers of Prep's Modern Language Department will head to Salamanca, Spain, for a one-week Intensive Immersion Program for Spanish teachers at the Tía Tula Spanish School. He is one of just ten teachers from high schools in the United States to be offered a full scholarship to the program, sponsored by the Spanish government.
In your prayers, please remember the soul of Mr. Robert F. Mulvihill, a 2001 Legends of Prep honoree and a multitalented member of Prep’s faculty from 1952-1989. Mr. Mulvihill died Tuesday, May 17, at the age of 92.
